Brief: A protest songbook to accompany performances by The Common Lot theatre company in and around Norwich in spring/summer 2022 as well as performances of protest songs at Latitude Festival.
My design was based on a series of radical protest songbooks created in the 1960s by The Broadsheet King John Foreman with papercut illustrations by Rita Foreman. This is a 32-page saddle-stitched booklet produced in an edition of 1,000 copies. Printed in monochrome Pantone 2129 in reference to the colour of the original booklet, using full-bleed borders in various tones for variation across spreads.
